The island loop, booked per jet ski

A two-hour jet ski loop around Bora Bora with the Bora Bora Activities Center and a guide born on the island, with a stop facing Mount Otemanu, a motu and a swim. Pick it if you are two people sharing one jet ski and want fruit and juice on the way.

Jet Ski Around Bora Bora with Motu Stop

About this experience

This is the same idea as the classic loop, run by a different company. You follow a guide born on Bora Bora in a small line of jet skis around the island, with a stop facing Mount Otemanu, a stop on a motu and a swim in the lagoon. Before you set off you get a safety briefing, instructions and your equipment. The snacks are named: a bottle of water, local juice, tropical fruit and coconut cake.

The big difference is how you book. This listing sells one jet ski for up to two people, not a seat per person. Two of you sharing pay one booking. A solo rider pays the same booking for one. The listing does not say whether a booking can cover two jet skis, so check the options on the booking page if you want one each.

Three things the listing leaves open. It does not give a minimum driver age, and it does not mention a licence (on a guided convoy you do not need one). It says the itinerary is "for reference only" and may change. And the two hours include the motu stop and the swim, so riding time is under two hours. The listing says the tour is not suitable for children under 8, pregnant women or people with back problems: a jet ski ride can be bumpy.

  • A guide born on Bora Bora, speaking French and English

  • A stop on a motu and a swim in the lagoon
  • Water, local juice, tropical fruit and coconut cake
  • Pickup and drop-off at listed hotels and Vaitape
  • One booking per jet ski, for up to two riders

Tips before you book

  • Pack what the listing asks for: sunglasses, swimwear, a towel, a camera and sunscreen.
  • Riding solo? You pay the booking for the whole jet ski. Sharing with a partner makes more sense here.
  • Have your accommodation name ready. The listing asks where you are staying to plan pickup.
  • If someone in your group has a sore back, choose the lagoon safari by boat instead.

Frequently asked questions

Is the price per person or per jet ski?

Per jet ski. The listing sells one booking for a group of up to two, so a couple shares one jet ski and one booking.

What is the minimum age?

The listing says it is not suitable for children under 8. It does not give a minimum age for the driver, so ask the operator before you book if a teenager wants to drive.

Do I need a licence?

No licence is mentioned. The tour is a guided convoy, and the maritime authority allows people without a licence to drive behind an approved guide on a set route.

What food is included?

Snacks, not a meal: a bottle of water, local juice, tropical fruit and coconut cake.
